Ladies! We’re so excited to be back with another book swap! ✨📚 Our last one at Celis Brewery was so much fun, and we loved seeing y’all there!
Join us for our All-Women Book Swap on Wednesday, July 22nd from 6:30–9PM at Old Gregg Brewing Co. 💖
Bring 2–6 books you’re ready to part with and swap them for fresh reads from other amazing ladies 💕
This would be our 6th book swap since launching last year! 🙌📚
💌 Come solo (most do!) or bring a friend! Whether you’re new to Austin or just looking for fellow book-loving girls, this is your sign to meet your people 💞👯♀️
🥳 How It Works
From 6:30–7:30PM, we’ll check you in, give you a randomly assigned colored wristband labeled with how many books you brought, and you’ll place your books in the genre sections 📚✨
However many you bring = however many you get to take home (max 6) 😍
📚 The Swap
The swap officially kicks off from 7:30-9PM ⏰💃
To keep things fair and fun, we’ll be swapping in 4 color groups 🌈
Before we start swapping, we’ll randomly draw the order of the colors 🎲
(think: red ❤️, green 💚, blue 💙, orange 🧡)
👉 First color drawn gets first pick and has 4 minutes to grab 1 book ⏳📖
👉 Then the next color goes and so on until all groups have had a turn
After everyone goes once, we’ll reverse the order 🔄 so the last group gets to go first next 👀✨
We’ll repeat this for 3 rounds total which means lots of chances to snag the books you really want 😍📚 You’ll grab ONE book per round (we’ll explain the rules before swapping & give reminders!)
✨ After the 3 rounds, the space opens up for everyone to keep browsing, swapping, and finding those last perfect picks 💎
